2/28/2020 0 Comments Final reflectionDuring this class I really enjoyed doing the visual puns project and the visual dictionary. Both of these projects allowed us to be creative but also had somewhat of an outline to follow. I also liked the panoramic project, it was cool how you could take multiple pictures and then combine them at the end to look like it was all one picture. My third favorite project was the multiple me project, from this project I learned a lot about layers and how to add things to the layers or how important it is to have certain layers on top of other layers. Most of all, my favorite thing was to take pictures of my dog. At times it was difficult to take pictures of him because of how much he moved but in the end I always had a couple good pictures and they are so much fun to look back at. Favorite projectsSome projects I didn't enjoy as much in this class were... The car project because I am not a super big car person so it was somewhat difficult to think of cool ideas and things to add to the car to make it look different and more appealing. Another project I didn't like as much was the open tutorial project, in this project we were able to look up any photoshop video and follow it making our own that was similar to the model. In this project I had trouble uploading pictures that were not too pixelated and I also found it kind of difficult to find a photoshop tutorial that was good and explained how to edit the photo enough for me to understand what was going on.

For this assignment i was supposed to take pictures and then photoshop them to black and white.I enjoyed this project because it was easy to find things to take pictures of but it was somewhat difficult to figure out the best positioning for the objects in my pictures.
2/20/2020 0 Comments Photoshop #7, potraitDescription: For this project we were supposed to take a portrait picture of a person in front of a backdrop and using fill light and key light to perfect the picture. We also had to take a portrait picture with natural light using a white board to reflect the light so that there was no shadows in the picture. Summary: In this project I learned different ways to avoid shadows and how much the studio lights really affect the outcome of the picture. I also learned how important the positioning of the subject in the picture is. Overall the project went really well and I enjoyed taking the pictures in the studio.

2/11/2020 0 Comments photo assignment #6, motionDescription: For this assignment I am supposed to take pictures of objects or humans in motion. In my pictures it should be obvious that the subject is moving. However the picture can not be to blurred to the point where you are not able to tell what is happening in the picture. Best photoEdited- Won't let me put in original image next five best photosSummary: This was a fun topic to take pictures of, although it was somewhat difficult to get a good picture of my brothers in motion on their scooters.

I tried to experiment with different lighting and different angles. next best 5 photosSummary: Overall I enjoyed this assignment, it wasn't too hard to take pictures of food because it just sat there and I changed the angles that I took the pictures from. I found it somewhat difficult to find a good backdrop for the pictures.

2/4/2020 0 Comments photoshop #4, Multiple meDescription: In this project you had to take multiple pictures of a person using a tripod then combine those pictures to make it appear like there was multiple people in the photo. Summary: This was a fun project and I enjoyed going around the school to find places where we could take these pictures. 1/23/2020 3 Comments Photo assignment #4, peopleDescription: For this assignment I had to take pictures of people and had to make sure the objects in the photo didn't take away from the main subject. Best PhotoSummary: This topic wasn't super difficult because there is so many people to take pictures of but I found that it was somewhat difficult to find good backdrops to use for the pictures. I experimented with many different backdrops and the different lighting as well. The sun was very bright on the day I took some of these photos which also made it more difficult.
1/23/2020 0 Comments photoshop #3, school contextDescription: For this project we had to take a picture from somewhere around the school and then photoshop it to look different than the original picture. Summary: I learned that there are many shortcuts in photoshop that made it a lot easier to complete this picture. For this project we did not have step by step instructions and that made it more difficult because we had to explore photoshop and experiment with new tools.
